INH Transport operates a robust fleet of heavy ridgid curtain-side trucks that are all fitted with tail-lifts. Our trucks can accommodate up to 14 standard pallet sizes and have weight capacity ranging from 10-14 tonnes. All our drivers have electric pallet jack for tail-lift loading if forklifts are not available and are well train in the most compliant and secure strapping protocols.

Specialised freight are usually more expensive than standard freight services. This is to accommodate the additional scope of requirements when loading and unloading, licenses and insurance requirements, as well as the additional truck capacity that some specialised freight can occupy. That being said not all specialised freight services are more expensive than general pallet transport, for example an oddly shaped freight might only occupy 2 standard pallet spaces and be charged for accordingly.

General freight is typically comes in standard pallets that can be forked on and forked off and occupy standard pallet spaces. Specialised freight usually requires a higher degree of care during transit such as hand loading, no double handling or additional care due to dangerous goods. Additionally they often don't fit within standard pallet sizes due to being oversized or oddly shaped.
Yes, we provide specialised freight solutions for both local and interstate deliveries, ensuring that unique items are safely transported across long distances. If loads are particularly sensitive and cannot be loaded with other goods we can arrange for a point-to-point delivery on one of our heavy rigid trucks.
